Water Pipe Bid

The Village of Fayetteville, Ohio is currently seeking bids for the following water line project:

Replacing – 525’ of 6” duct iron water line currently in use. This line is to be vacated as is.

A new 6” line is to be bored near the existing line. This is to be done by directional boring.

One continuous bore is preferred.

The pipe required is DR 18 C900 or equivalent.

There will be 3 new main valves. One at each end in grass area.

One new fire hydrant with watch valve; Storz Connector or Steamer (Kennedy or Mueller) 

Tie into 6” line on Dunham Street in surfaced area.

Seven residential 3/4“ taps

Public sewer is on the same side of street

All work is done to the AWWA standards

All restoration work to be done upon completion

10% shall be held for 6-month final restoration of project to meet approval of Administrator.

Village Council has the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
